Virtual Programs

When women & girls are better represented behind the scenes, they’re better reflected on the screen. That’s why Reel Stories is training the next generation of female filmmakers. During shelter- in- place, we’ve been hosting weekly virtual filmmaking programs/events & conducted our 1st ever virtual summer program to further support our community.

Below is Reel Stories ongoing list of Fall 2020 Virtual Programs.

Learn and build the power behind networked communities in a time when you might feel isolated and uncertain                          about the future. We are at a pivotal point in our collective history, be part of the change towards a more equitable world so that we can continue to elevate voices of those who are often misrepresented and underrepresented in the media!

Filmmakers will have the opportunity to develop a script, produce and edit a film of their choice. Filmmakers can                                    work independently or with a team, and will receive wraparound support throughout the filmmaking process.

Thank you for all your hard work! Grace truly enjoyed the entire experience, and she got the opportunity to expand her skills working on a different genre of film. Her self confidence grew because of the camp and she continues to learn how to work with all different kinds of people. Grace will continue to be a part of Reel Stories for a long time to come!
