During this workshop, Erica Milsom & Jennifer Lynch discuss the differences in directing television vs. feature films. Differences between reading scripts as a director for TV & film, location scouting, department meetings, production overview & directing actors will be covered during this amazing hour long session. In addition, Jennifer & Erica will be discussing the lingo used while creating film & television & providing tips on how to book work.
Meet the Filmmakers
Jennifer Lynch is an award winning film & television director and writer, known for Chained (2012) and Surveillance (2008). Since 2012, Lynch has focused on directing episodes of television series, including Psych, Teen Wolf, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time and Elementary.
Erica Milsom is an award winning director, writer & editor. Currently, Erica is a short film director with Pixar Animation Studios. Her latest short film, LOOP, an animated film about two kids adrift on a lake searching for a way to connect, broke new ground by featuring Pixar’s first non-verbal autistic character.
